It is imperative that you select a mediator who is truly trained in the art of alternative dispute resolution.
My basic mediation training included transformative and problem solving skills, in compliance with the Alternative Dispute Resolution Procedures Act§154.052, Texas Civil Practice & Remedy Code Annotated, and satisfied the standards of the Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable, Texas Association of Mediators, and Texas mediator Credentialing Association.
My advanced training was a concentration in the areas of family dynamics and domestic violence, ethics, mediation theory, practice consideration, child development, financial aspects of divorce, advanced mediation skills, family law, cultural diversity and children protective services. It was in compliance with the Alternative dispute Resolution Procedures Act, Texas Civil Practice & Remedy Code Annoted, and the Texas mediation Trainers Roundtable.
The field of alternative dispute resolution is ever changing and growing. Every case has different dynamics and requires a multi-disciplinary and individualized approach to resolve the conflict. I am active in the community of conflict resolution and keep abreast of the trends and tools of my profession.
My business knowledge began in 1994 with my introduction to management by statistics. As an office manager in the private healthcare and dental system, I continued to expand my knowledge base and leadership skills. Most receltly, I served as the Director of Staff for a large privately owned dental practice. As this practice grew, I had become responsible for overseeing as many as three offices, 5 providers, and 28 employees. I have served as a neutral during contract negotiations and served as an integral part in the restructuring of the company.
I am fully versed in the unique issues that can arise in a mult-provider private practice. I've utilized my vast training in practice management to encourage open lines of communication between the Doctor/Owner , Associates, and Staff. I have extensive experience pertaining to the integration and separation of providers from a group practice.
